Mrs. Striedl
Hello, my name is Gretchen Striedl. This will be my third
year teaching first grade at St. Thomas. I received my bachelor's
degree from Loras College and my Masters in Reading from Northern
Illinois University.
I live in Lake in the Hills with my husband Mark and our two
children Max and Olivia. Max is a sixth grader and Olivia is in
third grade. They are both students here at St. Thomas.

I live in Crystal Lake with my husband and three children: Christopher, Alyson and Brooke. I enjoy reading and try to do so whenever I have a free moment. My other past times include spending time with my family and keeping up with the busy lives of three teenagers. I have my Bachelors in Elementary Education and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I continue to pursue my education by participating in workshops, seminars and classes. I love teaching and I try to ensure that each of my students is provided with many opportunities to reach their highest potential.
